How can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation on this website – click here to be taken to our booking form. If you book on-line you will receive an email confirmation of your booking.

If you have questions or you would like to book through one of our experienced travel associates then you can call 0871 200 0611. This booking line is available daily from 08:00 hrs until 20:00 hrs.

What method of payment can I use?

We accept Visa/Mastercard credit or debit cards. We are sorry that we cannot make a reservation for you without payment being made at time of booking.

Where does the tour depart from?

The tour departs from Highland Experience Tours @ Caffe Nero:

This convenient location is a short walk from public transport. Caffe Nero has toilets and a cafe. Left luggage facilities are available at Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station which is a 10 minute walk from the departure point.

What languages are available?

The tour is conducted in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

Can I bring my children?

Well-behaved children of 3 years and above are welcome on this tour. Child prices are valid from 3 to 12 years inclusive.

Is food included?

Food is not included in the price of the tour, however there are stops where you can purchase food. There is no problem in obtaining vegetarian or vegan food along the way.
You may bring cold drinks and sandwiches, if you wish.

What is included in the tour price?

The fare includes transportation and the services of our driver/guide.
We will make a stop at the Loch Ness Centre. Admission fees to the exhibition are not included in the tour fare.

What type of vehicle will I travel on?

The minicoach that operates this tour has been specified to enhance your comfort and safety. Small enough to get to the remote locations featured in this tour they provide comfortable seating and large, oversized windows for unobstructed sightseeing.

Due to their size these vehicles are not fitted with toilets, however frequent stops are made where bathrooms are available.

What should I bring on the tour?

We recommend that you layer your clothing so you can add if the weather gets cooler and remove if it gets warmer. Don’t forget to bring a water-proof jacket and an umbrella, in case it rains. Comfortable shoes are a very good idea if you plan to go for a short stroll during our stops. Your camera is must, of course, but don’t forget to bring sufficient film or memory so you can capture the spectacular views!

Tell me about the weather?

It may surprise you to know that we have a very temperate climate in Scotland. The geography of Scotland means that it does rain more frequently in the west of the country and there are stronger winds in the east. We often say that we enjoy all four seasons in the one-day, so changeable is our weather. If it does rain during your tour we will not be too concerned and neither should you be – we need it to make our whisky!

If I cancel my tour will I get a refund?

Provided that we have the appropriate notice we will be happy to refund your money (less a £5 per person administration fee). Unfortunately if you give us less than 72 hours notice for a one day tour then we are unable to give you a refund. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

I was late and missed my tour?

Please be at the designated departure point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. We cannot be responsible if you miss your tour because you are not at the departure point in good time. If you miss your coach we regret that we will be unable to give you a refund.

I have a connection after my tour. Will it get back on time?

Generally the tour will return within 10 minutes of the stated return time. It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure there is sufficient time to transfer to any onward connection. Please note that our drivers are unable to return early to facilitate a tight connection nor can we be held responsible for missed connections should the coach be delayed due to mechanical breakdown, road conditions, accident or similar impediment.
